Nat\\\'l Income Tax Day being celebrated

The National Income Tax Day-2014 is being celebrated across the country today (Monday). National Board of Revenue (NBR) has taken up various programmes, including bringing out a colourful processions in Dhaka and other cities and towns, in celebration of the income tax day. A week-long income tax fair will begin in Dhaka city tomorrow (September 16) on this occasion. Besides, similar programme will kick off in divisional headquarters and other cities and towns on Monday (Sept 16) and will continue till Sept 22. The week-long programmes will be simultaneous run in all 7 divisions aiming at encouraging people to pay tax properly for the development of the country. Earlier, President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina issued separate messages on the eve of the National Income Tax Day, according to a news agency.
