Nat'l Poetry Fest begins today

A two-day National poetry festival titled 'Kobita Utsab' will begin today (Thursday) on the Dhaka University campus, reports UNB.
Jatiya Kobita Parishad will organise the 32nd version of the annual festival dedicating to late poet Sajjad Kadir who died on April 6, 2017.
Poet Belal Choudhury will inaugurate the festival while poetry council president Muhammad Samad will preside over the inaugural ceremony of the festival.
A total of 17 poets from nine countries will attend the programme while 300 local poets will also participate in the event with their poems.
