Nat'l Tubes approves 25pc cash dividend, 50pc bonus shares

National Tubes Ltd, a gas and oil line (API) pipe and GI MS pipe producing company in the country, declared 25 per cent cash dividend and 50 per cent bonus share on paid up capital for the year 2007-2008 at its 28th AGM at Tongi, Gazipur, says a press release.
The company earned a pretax profit of Tk 128.40 million (12.84 crore) during the financial year 2007-2008.
Additional Secretary and Chairman of BSEC and National Tubes Ltd SMA Mannan presided over the meeting.
A large number of shareholders attended the meeting. All directors of the company, Managing Director Syed Delwar Hossain and the company Secretary Abdul Baten Sarker were present in the meeting.
The chairman of the company presented the annual report and explained the performance of the company for the year 2007-2008.
