Nat'l Women Handball begins tomorrow

The first round matches of the EXIM Bank 21st National Women Handball Competition begins tomorrow (Saturday) at the two separate venues in the city, reports UNB.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Ahad Ali Sarkar will formally inaugurate the meet as the chief guest at 3:30 pm at the Outer Stadium Handball ground.
Some 24 teams from different districts and associations across the country, split into eight groups, will take part in the meet, organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation.
Apart from Outer Stadium Handball ground, the first round matches will be held at the Shaheed Suhrawardi National Indoor Stadium at Mirpur.
The quarterfinals, semifinals and final of the competition will be held at the Handball Stadium.
Handball Federation General Secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor disclosed the details of the meet at a press conference at the federation Thursday.
Handball Federation President Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Vice-president Kazi Mahtab Uddin Ahmed were, among others, present at the press conference.
