Natore, Bogura road crashes kill four

A total of four persons were killed in separate road accidents in Natore, Bogura districts on Friday night, report agencies.
In Natore, two people were killed and several others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck at Rezu Mor in Baraigram, Natore. The injured have been taken to the local Upazila Health Complex for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Shafiqul Islam, a representative of Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals, and Utsab Dutta, son of Paritosh Kumar from Puthia upazila, Rajshahi.
Sirajul Islam, officer-in-Charge of Baraigram Police Station, said that the accident occurred around 9:30 pm.
In Bogura, two motorcycle riders were killed as a truck hit their motorbike in Shahjahanpur upazila of the district on Friday night.
The deceased were Palash, 33, and Apel, 30, both residents of Gandogram village of the upazila. They were heading toward Natore riding this motorcycle.
Police said the accident occurred around 1.15 am on the Bogura-Natore highway in Jora area when a truck hit the motorcycle from the opposite direction, leaving two bike riders dead on the spot.
