Natore crash death toll reaches 32

At least 32 people have been killed in a head-on collision between two buses at Boraigram Upazila in Natore district. Bonpara Highway Police OC Fuad Hossain, local and hospital sources said 32 people were killed in the crash at Razzak Intersection on Bonpara-Hatikumrul Highway on Monday. The deceased could not be identified. Quoting witnesses, they said a Rajshahi-bound bus of ‘Keya Paribahan’ from Dhaka collided with a Natore-bound bus from Sirajganj around 3:30pm, leaving 19 people dead on the spot and over 20 others injured. The injured were rushed to the Upazila health complex, Banparha Amena Hospital and a local clinic where six of them succumbed to their injuries, according to private TV channels.
