Natore district JCD president nabbed

NATORE, Sept 24 (UNB): The district Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) president was arrested from the makeshift court premises set up in the parliament building in the capital with a foreign-made revolver Sunday morning.
Acting on a tip-off a team of the district Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Farhad Ali alias Dewan Shahin in the morning soon after he came out of the courtroom in the guise of a lawyer.
Later, police recovered a Czech-made revolver searching his body.
Police said former deputy minister Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu of Natore was produced in a case in the court on the day and Shahin was arrested when, along with Dulu, he was coming out of the court.
