Nat’l Electricity Week begins in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Dec 8 (BSS): National Electricity Week-2014 has begun in the district on Sunday amid creating much awareness among the consumers to halt misuse of electricity.
To mark the week in a befitting manner, Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and Rural Electrification Board (REB) have taken up the elaborate programmes during the week from December 7 to 11.
The programmes include rally, publicity, pasting posters, leaflet distribution, illegal electric line disconnection, motivational campaign to use energy saving bulb, digital meter and solar panel, essay competition to the students and prize distribution to the best consumers.
