Nat’l Kabaddi begins May 30

The Meizan Fortified Palm Olein Inter-District and National Kabaddi Championship, organised by the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, will begin in the capital Saturday (May 30), reports UNB.
A total of 38 teams, including 31 districts and seven services teams, will compete in the first phase.
Thirty one district teams, split into seven zones-Dhaka, Satkhira, Dinajpur, Kushtia, Sylhet, Tangail and Pabna-will compete in the first phase from June 4-8.
But the seven-team Seba zone matches will be held in Dhaka from May 30 to June 2.
Later, seven zonal district champion teams will play in the next round from June 9-11. The four semifinalists will play in the eight-team final round of the National Kabaddi Tournament with the semifinalists of Seba Zone from June 12-14 at the Kabaddi Stadium in Dhaka.
