Nat’l Road Safety Day observed in Tangail

TANGAIL, Oct 22: The National Road Safety Day was observed in Tangail Wednesday with the slogan of "Shabai mile oykko kori, sharak durghatana mukto Bangaldesh gori".
To mark the day, Nirapad Sharak Chai (NSC) Tangail branch arranged a colourful rally and a discussion meeting to create public awareness against road accident and build a social movement to make a road accident free Bangladesh. Early in the morning, they brought out a colourful rally which paraded through the different roads of the town.
After the rally a discussion meeting was held at NSC office premises. Deputy Commissioner of Tangail, Mohammed Mahbub Hossain, science and technology professor Dr Mohammed Alauddin, Mayor of Tangail Municipality Shahidur Rahman Khan Mukti were present in the occasion.
