Navy chief calls on President

Chief of Bangladesh Navy Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam called on President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed at Bangabhaban in the city Tuesday, reports BSS.
During the meeting, the navy chief apprised the President of various development and regular activities of the Bangladesh Navy.
He also briefed the President of his proposed visit to India scheduled to begin on February 14 to attend a five-day seminar there on an official invitation from the Indian Naval Chief.
Among others, Military Secretary to the President Major General Mohd Aminul Karim, Secretary Md Sirajul Islam and Press Secretary Abdul Awal Howlader were present during the meeting.
