Navy chief returns home

Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral ZU Ahmed returned home Thursday after attending handing taking over ceremony of newly purchased Navy Ship named BNS BIJOY and BNS DHALESHWARI at Newcastle, UK.
A two member naval delegation accompanied him, said an ISPR release.
During his stay in the UK, the Navy Chief inspected the overall regeneration activities of BNS BIJOY and BNS DHALESHWARI performed by A & P group.
He called on First Sea Lord of Royal British Navy including Assistant Chief of Naval Staff of the UK Navy and high level military and civil officials.
The Navy Chief also visited Britannia Royal Naval College and met military delegation at Dartmouth, UK.
Admiral Ahmed also visited Lebanon to see for himself its peace-keepers there. He also performed Omrah in Saudi Arabia.
