Nazrul asks AL to quit power

BOGRA, Oct 12: Nazrul Islam Khan, standing committee member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) said that the people of Bangladesh won't take election under Awami league easily and BNP too won't take part in election. He also said, the deadbody of Felani remained hung on the barricade wires whereas the government dared not protest it.
It is clear to the people of Bangladesh that they (AL) cannot protect the freedom and sovereignty of the country. He said these as a chief guest of a meeting to garner support for the road march and public meeting of Khaleda Zia on October 18, held on Tuesday noon at Naz Garden in Bogra. He said, those who play with the lives of the people, have no right to remain in power and urged them to leave power as early as possible.
The preparatory meeting was held with district BNP president V.P Saiful Islam in the chair. Other speakers present were BNP chairperson's adviser Ikbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Joint Secretary and Ex Mayor of Rajshahi CT Corporation Mizanur Rahman Minu, Assistant organizing secretary Abdul Momin Talukdar MP, Ad. Hafizur Rahman MP, Eng. Mostofa Ali Mukul MP.
