Nazrul\\\'s relatives demand Shamim Osman\\\'s arrest

Relatives and supporters of Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC)’s slain Councillor Nazrul Islam have demonstrated demanding arrest of AKM Shamim Osman, the member of parliament from Narayanganj city. A march was taken out on Saturday night when Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad went to Narayanganj’s Siddhirganj to meet the family of murdered Ward 4 Councillor and local Awami League leader Nazrul Islam. Islam’s father-in-law Shahidul Islam was also seen in the procession. The march also raised slogans demanding arrest of Ward 2 Councillor Nur Hossain and another accused local AL leader Haji Yasin Miah. The agitating locals were heard saying that it was Shamim Osman who prevented arrest of criminals and terrorists in Narayanganj, according to bdnews24.com.
