NBL, BMDA ink MoU

National Bank Limited (NBL) and Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA) has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Agricultural and Rural Credit sponsored by the bank. Managing Director of NBL Neaz Ahmed and Executive Director of BMDA Shafiqur Rahman signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations at Rajshahi recently. Among others, Chairman of the BMDA Nurul Islam Thandu, deputy managing directors of NBL AKM Shafiqur Rahman and ASM Bulbul and Senior Vice President and Manager of Rajshahi branch Binoy Kumar Sikder were present at the MoU signing ceremony. Meanwhile, the NBL has been disbursing agri loan in the region since 1993 for the development of the region. The bank disbursed over Tk 1.0 billion as agricultural loan in the region.
