NBL Jamalpur Branch distributes SME loan sanction letter

Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Atiur Rahman distributed SME loan sanction letters of total Taka 4.3m (43 lakh) issued by the National Bank Limited (NBL). It was followed by a discussion meeting.
The discussion meeting held regarding SME loan organised by National Bank Limited, Jamalpur Branch at Zilla Shilpakala Academy auditorium in Jamalpur district Thursday, according to a press release.
The BB Governor Dr Atiur Rahman was present in the meeting as chief guest.
He expressed his deep satisfaction as the NBL had been directly disbursing SME loans to the poor people of Jamalpur area, which would help improve the socio-economic condition of Bangladesh.
National Bank Limited chairman Moazzem Hossain presided over the meeting while Md Abdur Rahman Sarker, Managing Director of the company welcomed the guests.
Bangladesh Krishi Bank chairman Khandarker Ibrahim Khaled, Executive Director Mir Abdur Rahim, Bangladesh Bank General Manager SM Moniruzzaman and Jamalpur Chamber of Commerce and industry President Rezaul Karim Reznu also attended on the meeting, among others.
After meeting, BB Governor visited some handicraft show rooms of Jamalpur town and participated in a question-answer session with the SME woman entrepreneurs and borrowers.
