The Annual Conference 2008 of the executives and managers of National Bank Ltd (NBL) was held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the city Sunday, said a press release.
Chairperson of NBL's board of directors Parveen Haque Sikder inaugurated the conference.
The chairperson, in her inaugural speech, laid emphasis on human and financial assets of the bank.
She also urged the managers and executives of the bank to utilise their concerted efforts for improvement of the bank.
Managing Director of the bank Abdur Rahman Sarker, in his address of welcome, expressed his gratitude to the board of directors and thanked the managers and executives for their success last year.
Directors of the bank were also present at the conference and spoke on the occasion.
