NBL opens its 98th branch at Progati Sarani

The 98th branch of National Bank Limited (NBL) was inaugurated in the city's Progati Sarani area recently.
Chairperson of the bank Parveen Haque Sikder formally inaugurated the branch, said a press release.
Speaking at the inaugural function, the chairperson said the bank would make a remarkable contribution to the business development of the area.
Among others, directors Helena Rahman, Zakaria Taher, AM Nurul Islam, Mahbub Ahmed and Abu Sayeed Monir were present at the inaugural function.
In his address, Managing Director of the bank M Aminuzzaman said the banking network of NBL has further been extended in the capital city.
He also expressed the hope that the new branch would fulfil the cherished desire of the people of the locality for modern banking facility.
The elite and businessmen of the area were also present at the opening ceremony, the release added.
