NBL Rajshahi branch managers hold confce on SME loan

The regional managers' conference of the Rajshahi region of National Bank Ltd (NBL) was held at a hotel at Bogra recently. The conference was held in connection with sanctioning of SME loan.
NBL Chairman Moazzam Hossain was present at the conference as the chief guest while Managing Director Md Abdur Rahman Sarker presided over the meeting.
Mozzam Hossain directed the branch managers to strengthen the SME loan programme for poverty alleviation in the locality. He also advised the managers to extend credit facilities to help the farmers use good seeds and produce vegetables, local fruits and fish.
Abdur Rahman instructed all the branches of northern region to give SME loan to the poor people and to give priority to the women entrepreneurs in this connection.
Among others, NBL deputy managing directors Moshin-Ul-Karim and Azizur Rahman, Executive Vice President and Board Secretary AKM Shafiqur Rahman, and Senior Vice President and Rajshahi regional head Farad Ahmed Chowdhury were also present on the occasion.
