NBL thrust on enhanced remittance from Oman

National Bank Ltd (NBL) Managing Director Md Abdur Rahman Sarker visited the Sultanate of Oman recently to join the annual general meeting of Gulf Overseas Exchange Company LLC.
During his visit, Mr Sarker met with the expatriate Bangladeshis living in Oman to exchange views with them on different issues which would contribute a lot to give expatriates confidence in sending more remittance and to make investment in their homeland.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Oman Adbul Hannan was present as chief guest at the congregation.
Chief Executive of Gulf Overseas Exchange Wasif Ali Khan and NBL managing director spoke at the meeting.
Among others, professors from the University of Sultan Kabous, country manager of Bangladesh Biman, high officials from different organisations in Oman were present on the occasion.
The meeting was followed by a dinner arranged by the Gulf Overseas.
