There has been a good response to the amnesty offered by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) to fake taxpayer's identification number (TIN) holders to legalise their TINs by April 30, reports UNB.
"We're getting good response from the fake TIN holders," NBR Chairman Muhammad Abdul Mazid told the news agency over phone Saturday, but could not say the number of fake TIN holders who have so far came up to avail themselves of the amnesty.
He said NBR would continue the survey against the fake TIN holders more effectively to identify more people.
