NCC Bank holds confce for executives

NCC Bank Ltd held a conference of the executives and officers of Sylhet-based branches at Parjatan Motel in Sylhet Saturday.
Chairman of the bank Tofazzal Hossain was present on the occasion as the chief guest.
Executive vice presidents (EVPs) TM Faruque Chowdhury and Md Tarikul Alam and Vice President Fakhrul Islam Chowdhury were also present, among others, on the occasion.
Tofazzal Hossain, in his speech, said banking is not just procuring deposit and lending money in conventional way nowadays.
"Situation has changed. We must be aware of this changed situation and steps should be taken to face the challenge," he said.
He emphasised on procuring low-cost deposit in the locality and also increasing investment in new profitable sectors.
EVP and Head of HRD TM Faruque Chowdhury gave his address of welcome, while EVP and Board Secretary Md Tarikul Alam gave vote of thanks.
