NCC Bank honours Lalmonirhat maize farmers

The National Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank Limited has awarded the successful maize farmers of Hatibandha and Patgram in Lalmonirhat district.
Chairman of the bank Tofazzal Hossain distributed prizes among the farmers as chief guest at a simple ceremony recently, said a press release.
Managing Director of Doel Agro Industrial Complex Limited Ershad Hossain Saju presided over the function, while Managing Director of the bank Md Nurul Amin was present as the special guest.
Among others, Executive Vice President of the bank Md Motiur Rahman, Chairman of Doel Agro Mahbubul Alam and Vice Chairman Mizanul Haque were present on the occasion.
The bank has been extending loan and other facilities among the farmers of Hatibandha and Patgram for cultivation of maize on 3,000 acres of land during the last few years, the release added.
