NCC Bank installs 100 PoS terminals at TMSS branches

NCC Bank installed 100 more Point of Sale (PoS) terminals at TMSS branches for distributing remittances fast and easily under its Foreign Remittance Payment Project (FRPP).
PoS deployment ceremony and a training workshop also were held in this connection at a city hotel recently.
NCC Bank Ltd Managing Director Mohammed Nurul Amin presided over the programme while TMSS Executive Director Hosne Ara Begum was present as the chief guest.
Deputy Managing Director Golam Hafiz Ahmed delivered the address of welcome. Deputy Managing Director SM Shamsul Alam and Financial Analyst Fakhrul Islam also spoke at the function.
NCC Bank Deputy Managing Director AK Md Siddique, senior executives, zonal and branch in-charges of TMSS also attended the function.
The speakers, in their speeches, termed the step as a unique one. They noted that through this system, beneficiaries would receive remittance directly, which would help proper utilisation of remittance fund, and saving habit would also develop among them.
NCC Bank introduced Electronic Remittance Card first ever in Bangladesh for the beneficiaries for delivering remittance.
