NCC Bank official held for embezzling money

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Thursday arrested an official of NCC Bank on charge of misappropriation of around Tk90 million from Kamlapur area in the capital early.
"We arrested Siddikur Rahman, 32, an officer of National Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank, in connection with a case on charge of embezzling Tk88.9 million from Kamlapur area around 1am," operation officer of RAB-3 Yasin Arafat told BSS.
The arrestee was entrusted with remittance department of the bank and he misappropriated the money after showing overrate of dollars in the last four years, he also said.
