NCC reviews opinions to implement July Charter

Commission to meet political parties today

The National Consensus Commission (NCC) on Wednesday held a meeting to review the opinions received from the political parties and experts on the possible ways to implement the July National Charter 2025, report agencies.
"In the meeting, the commission reconsidered the opinions and recommendations provided by experts regarding the effective implementation of the charter," said a press release.
The meeting also re-assessed the opinions given by political parties on the charter's execution strategies. Besides, preparations for Thursday's scheduled meeting between the NCC and various political parties over the implementation process.
NCC Vice Chair Prof Ali Riaz, members Badiul Alam Majumdar, Justice Md Emdadul Haque and Md Ayub Mia, and Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Monir Haidar attended the meeting held at the commission's office in the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban complex in the capital.
Meanwhile, the National Consensus Commission (NCC) will meet with political parties today (Thursday) to decide on the methods for implementing the reform recommendations to be incorporated in the 'July National Charter 2025', reports BSS.
The meeting will be held ce at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital from 10.30 am and will include extensive deliberations on the finalized draft of the Charter, said a press release of the commission on Tuesday.
The parties will provide comprehensive feedback on its implementation, focusing on constitutional, legal and political dimensions, it added.
