NCCI executive body elected

NILPHAMARI, Oct 19: Nilphamari Chamber of Commerce & Industries (NCCI) elected its executive body for the session of 2010-12 recently.
Abdul Wahed Sarker has been elected as president. Alhaj Nur Islam as senior vice-president and Samsul Haque as vice-president respectively. The executive committee of the chamber elected the leaders at a meeting held at the Chamber Bhaban in the district town.
Earlier, the biennial election of Nilphamari chamber was held to elect the executive committee of the district's trade body for 2010-12.
A total of 515 general voters participated in the election to elect 12 member of the executive committee from the general category of the body. While another 5 executive committee member's were elected from 148 associate members. Thereby total members of the executive committee of the body stood at 17 including both general category and associate category and they elected the office bearer of the district trade body.
