NCL final round begins tomorrow

The seventh and final round matches of the four-day Walton 16th National Cricket League will begin at 9:30 am tomorrow (Monday) at four separate venues in Dhaka and adjoining areas, reports UNB.
Opening day's matches
Defending champions Dhaka Division vs Rajshahi Division at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah; league leader Khulna Division vs Chittagong Division at the BKSP Ground-3 in Savar;
Rangpur Division vs Dhaka Metropolis at the BKSP ground-2, and Sylhet Division vs Barisal Division at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
After the sixth round matches, Khulna Division earned 96 points to move to the top slot from second place by virtue of net run rate, Rangpur Division (96 points) while Dhaka Division remained in their previous third place, also securing identical 96 points.
Dhaka Metropolis and Rajshahi Division maintained their previous fourth and fifth place respectively with 75 and 66 points.
Meanwhile, Sylhet Division moved to the sixth place (38 points) putting Barisal Division (37 points) down to seventh while Chittagong Division (29 points) remained in the last position of the eight-team battle.
