NDC team attends BJA seminar

A team of the course members of the National Defence College (NDC), headed by its Commandant Lieutenant General Abu Tayeb Muhammad Zahirul Alam, attended a seminar held in the Bangladesh Jute Association (BJA) office in the city Tuesday, said a press release.
Of the 47 participants, 17 were high-ranking army officials from 10 friendly countries.
They exchanged views in connection with raw jute of Bangladesh, its problems and possible way-outs.
The participants also talked with BJA Chairman Md Rezaul Karim and expressed their satisfaction at the arrangement made in connection with the seminar.
Rezaul Karim highlighted the current problems of the country's raw jute, including the problems of the raw-jute traders and exporters.
