NEC approves Tk 351b revised ADP

The National Executive Committee (NEC) Sunday approved a Tk 351.30 billion revised Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the current fiscal (2010-11), which is 8.75 per cent lower than the original ADP of Tk 385 billion set out in the budget, reports UNB. The approval came from a meeting held at the NEC conference room in city's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with NEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair. "Of the revised ADP of Tk 351.30 billion, Tk 232 billion (66 per cent) will be financed from domestic resources and Tk 119.3 billion (34 per cent) from foreign funds," Planning Minister AK Khandker told reporters after the meeting.
