Need for better customer service thru' IT stressed

Managing Director (MD) of Pubali Bank Ltd Helal Ahmed Chowdhury has stressed the need for better customer service through utilisation of modern Information Technology (IT).
He was speaking at a workshop titled 'Basic Concept of Backup, File Transfer and Security System Relating to Computer Operation' held at the bank's head office in the city recently.
Pubali Bank Training Institute organised the workshop for the officials of the bank, said a press release.
Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, in his speech, urged the officials who participated in the workshop to provide the clients with correct information relating to the opening of bank accounts, transfer of funds and identification of customers.
He advised them to be cautious while exchanging bank-related information.
Principal of the training institute Badruddin Ahmed was also present on the occasion.
