Need for development of skills, expertise of trainers stressed

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Administrator Syed Manzur Elahi stressed the need for development of skills and expertise of the trainers for the benefit of the country.
The FBCCI administrator made the observation while speaking at the certificate distribution ceremony of the three-day training course at the FBCCI board room in the city Sunday.
The FBCCI organised the training course on 'Training of Trainers' under a project entitled "Capacity Building of the Federation".
Elahi expressed the hope that the trainees would benefit from the course and could add value in their organisations.
Also present at the concluding ceremony were FBCCI Secretary General Syed Jamaluddin, Secretary Mir Muniruzzaman and Deputy Secretary (project) and Coordinator of the course M Anwarur Rahman.
Nearly 30 representatives from different government and semi-government organisations including banks, financial institutions and training institutes of the country took part in the course.
The course included modules on training concept and training as a tool for HRD, programme designing and management of training, principles for selection of training methods, on-job training, qualities of a trainer and utilisation of training and role of audio visual aids in training, etc.
Experts from different training institutes and senior officials of the federation conducted the courses.
