Need for training on general banking stressed

Managing Director (MD) of Mutual Trust Bank Ltd (MTB) Kazi Md Shafiqur Rahman has laid emphasis on training on general banking.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of a 15-day training on General Banking organised for the MTB officials at the bank's training institute in the city recently.
Later, the MD distributed certificates among the participants of the training programme.
He said bankers should have clear knowledge of general banking in order to exercise proper banking norms and practice.
He said : "In future, MTB will put more stress on organising such training programme to make its officials a skilled manpower.''
Executive Vice President of MTB Md Nurul Islam, among others, was also present on the occasion, according to a press release.
