Need to be more responsible and careful

ALMOST everyday some newspapers make terrorism their headline. Too much talk on terrorist issue only tarnishes the country's image abroad. This may give the impression that the country is going towardsan uncertain future. Public may be panicky at home. It is also not favourable for the business climate of our country. Foreign buyers may lose their confidence on our country.
Our non-readymade garments (RMG) export sector has already been affected by the global recession. Exports of non-RMG products have already decreased by about 20 per cent on an average. Now we are in a fight with the global recession and trying to come out of this economic crisis.
In the present situation, we will have to be more responsible and more careful so that nothing can cause harm to our country's economy. Let us think in this way that each of us is a safe-guard of our country and its economy.
We, Bangladeshis, have been moderate Muslims for ages. We love living in harmony with people of different religions at home and abroad. We hate awfully any kind of terrorism. The terrorists will never be able to win our hearts in the name of religion as we do not believe in fanaticism. We believe in love and peace as our religion teaches us.
