Need to have knowledge for facing challenges of globalisation stressed

DCCI Senior Vice President M Shahjahan Khan laid emphasis on having proper knowledge on import and export-related shipping procedures to face the challenges of globalisation.
He was speaking at the certificate distribution programme of the training course on "Shipping Procedures for Export and Import" organised by the DCCI Business Institute recently on the institute premises.
Considering the competitiveness in the global market, the main requirements were to know domestic and international shipping and transport procedures and administration to be successful in import and export business. For this skilled, efficient, knowledgeable and trained manpower was required, he added.
He urged the participants to use and disseminate the ideas and knowledge of the recent events happening in the RMG sector and urged the businessmen to ensure better management and corporate social responsibility.
DBI Executive Director (AD) Md Hossain Ali praised the participants for their participation and active role in the training programme.
A good number of participants from reputed business organisations participated in the training course.
