THE historic Uttara Ganabhavan, in neglected northern region, has been functioning as another President's House, since Ayub Khan's time.
The credentials of some Ambassadors were received by Ayub Khan at this historic building.
Rani (Queen) Bhavani of Natore was the owner of the palace.
The father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the last to receive the credentials of the Ambassadors at this historic building after Bangladesh came into being.
The people of the neglected northern region very much expect credential presentation at this historic palace.
They also expect a meeting of the council of advisers to take place in the building.
