Nepal envoy calls on Speaker

Nepal’s ambassador in Dhaka HK Shrestha called on Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office in the Parliament Secretariat on Wednesday. They discussed parliamentary democracy and economic development of the two countries. They agreed that the two countries should further boost their bilateral relation. The Speaker said a parliamentary friendship group between Bangladesh and Nepal will be formed, she said. She sought Nepal’s cooperation in water resources management and hydro power production in Bangladesh, according to a news agency.
