Nepal minister due on Aug 5

Nepalese energy minister Radha Kumari Gyawali will arrive in Dhaka on August 5 as both Bangladesh and Nepal are actively planning to enhance cooperation in the field of energy for mutual benefits. During her visit, the Nepalese minister is expected to discuss hydropower trade with Bangladesh, power division sources have said. Electricity trade with neighbours has the tremendous potential to address the country's long-term energy constraints in a cost-effective manner. — BSS
