Nepal wants to boost trade with BD

Executive Director of the Trade and Export Promotion Centre of Nepal, Iswar Prasad Ghirmi on Saturday said Nepal wants to enhance bilateral trade with Bangladesh. Iswar Prasad conveyed the interest during a meeting with Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) President Mohammad Shahjahan Khan at the DCCI office. The Nepalese government official also sought cooperation from Bangladesh side in promoting Nepali businessmen to explore new market access in Bangladesh. He said Bangladesh can import food items, fruits, handicrafts, electricity from Nepal and laid emphasis on government to government  (G2G) collaboration to reduce trade barriers between these two Saarc countries, said a DCCI media release, according to a news agency.
