Nepalese team sees ample scopes to develop bilateral trade, tourism

A Nepalese delegation sees ample possibilities to develop trade and tourism sectors between Nepal and Bangladesh. Entrepreneurs of both of the countries urged the authorities concerned for making the visa formalities easier. Executive Director of the Cottage and Small Industry Development Board (CSIDB) of Nepal Mahendra Regmi said Friday that the two countries have scopes to develop bilateral tourism and trade. He was speaking at a press conference organised jointly by Visit Bangladesh Ltd (VBL) And Oracle Travels and Tour Pvt Ltd(OTTPL), Nepal. The conference was arranged for sharing experiences of the visiting Nepalese delegation. Mahendra is leading a 23-member delegation including government officials and entrepreneurs of Nepal. He said that Nepal was very much eager to boost bilateral tourism and trade with Bangladesh. Pushpa Lal Rai, a member of the delegation and a Nepalese entrepreneur explained the reasons of differences between small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Bangladesh and Nepal. He said "Number of our SMEs is very small but it is much higher in Bangladesh."
