Nepali student found dead

A Nepali student has been found dead in Kurigram district, 2-day after he drowned in Teesta River in neighbouring Rangpur district. The deceased was identified as Paban Kechi Khetri, 20, a first-year MBBS student of Rangpur Community Medical College. College authorities say he went missing after he jumped to retrieve a football that fell into a river during a game with friends at Rangpur’s Kaunia on May 16. His body was seen floating in Teesta at Ulipur Upazila’s Bazra on Sunday, around 25 kilometres from where he drowned, according to bdnews24.com.
