A F Nesaruddin has been appointed as one of the directors of Sonali Bank for three years.
Nesaruddin is one of the partners of Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co, an affiliated firm of Deloitte, one of the big four global professional services firms.
After completing post-graduation in Finance from Dhaka University, Nesaruddin joined chartered accountancy profession in 1981 and qualified as chartered accountant in 1984.
Having about 25 years of professional experience, he has rendered consultancy and other special services in association with Deloitte to many sectors including financial institutions and telecommunication apart from corporate audits, tax, due diligence, valuation and business advisory services to multinational companies and foreign investors.
He has some publications to his credit in the areas of industrial credit administration, financial disclosures requirements etc. He has been an active Rotarian for about 20 years and currently, the president of Rotary Club of Dhaka North West.
