Nestle's donation for school students

Nestle Bangladesh Limited has provided clean drinking water facilities to a few village schools to ensure good life.
Nestle constructed water tanks at Mawna Multilateral High School, Sreepur in Gazipur district that store clean drinking water for school students, the company said in a statement.
Managing Director of Nestle South Asia Region Helio Waszyk and Managing Director of Nestle Bangladesh Laurent Therond jointly inaugurated the project.
The company Senior Manager (Corporate Affairs) Mirza Golam Hossain and other officials were also present at the function.
The project also includes education component- water education programmes to teach students about the importance of clean water the need for conservation and the link between clean water, hygiene, health and wellness.
In this connection, the managing committee of Mawna Multilateral High School organised a gala ceremony where students, teachers and local people attended it.
Mr Waszyk distributed prizes among the winners of the art competition.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Therond stressed on the importance of having access to clean drinking water and urged the students to maintain the water facility in perfect condition at all time. He also advised the students to study attentively for a prosperous life.
