New AMD of Uttara Bank

Mr MA Matin has been promoted to additional managing director (AMD) of Uttara Bank Limited, said a press release. Prior to his promotion, Mr Matin was the deputy managing director of the bank. Mr Matin started his banking career by joining the bank as Probationary Officer in 1977. He was promoted to general manager in 2001, assistant managing director in 2006 and deputy managing director in 2008. During his long banking career, Mr Matin served the bank as zonal head of different zones and head of several divisions in the head office. He attended international banking conferences in Germany and Austria in 2003. A Mr Matin was the district governor of District 315B3 of Lions Clubs International in 2006 2007.
