New chairman of Premier Leasing audit committee

Md Nasiruddin Choudhury, director of Premier Leasing and Finance Limited (PLFC) has been elected chairman of Audit Committee of the board with effect from September 4, 2010, said a press release.
After obtaining degree in Civil Engineering from BUET, he engaged himself in engineering and construction management and real estate development for more than 33 years at home and abroad.
He is associated with financial institutions like private bank, insurance and leasing companies. Mr Choudhury is the chairman of Holiday Travels Limited and Director of Mercantile Bank Limited, Premier Leasing Securities Limited, Global Insurance Limited and Delta Hospital Limited.
He is the Managing Director of Technocon Ltd and Manar Associates Ltd. Mr Choudhury is also engaged in various social and cultural activities.
