New chairman, vice chairmen of IFIL

Abul Quasem Haider has been elected Chairman of Islamic Finance and Investment Limited (IFIL) at the 220th meeting of the Board of Directors held at IFIL Head Office in the capital recently, said a statement.
The meeting also elected Afzalur Rahman and Hossain Mahmud as Vice-Chairmen respectively. S M Bakhtiar Alam, was elected as the Chairman of the Executive Committee. Independent Director Professor Dr. Gazi Md. Ahsanul Kabir has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Audit Committee of IFIL.
Presided over by newly-elected Chairman Abul Quasem Haider, the meeting was attended by Vice Chairmen Afzalur Rahman, Executive Committee Chairman S M Bakhtiar Alam, Directors Feroz Alam, Shibbir Mahmud, Kazi Mahbuba Akhter, Audit Committee Chairman Professor Dr. Gazi Md. Ahsanul Kabir, Managing Director and CEO A K M Shahidul Haque, Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Ruknuzzaman and Company Secretary S.Q. Bazlur Rashid.
