New Citi Business Manager

Citi announced Wednesday the appointment of Rashed Maqsood as its Business Manager for Citi Bangladesh, replacing Mamun Rashid who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
Maqsood's appointment is effective immediately and he will be based in Dhaka. He will report to Peter Eliot, Country Citi Officer for Thailand.
Maqsood started his career with Citi in Bangladesh in 1995 as a relationship manager before going on to lead the newly established Corporate Banking Business franchise in Bangladesh. In 2001 Maqsood assumed the role of Head of Financial Institutions Group in Citi Bangladesh and in 2003, he took over the newly established Global Transaction Services (GTS) business in Bangladesh. He successfully grew the GTS business into the leading cash management franchise in Bangladesh.
