New committee of Sonargaon Hotel Sromik Union

Dulal Chandra Mazumder has been elected the president of Sonargaon Hotel Sromik-O-Karmachari Union (SHSOKU) and Md. Shah Alam its general secretary.
The election to the 17-member Executive Committee of SHSOKU was held at Sonargaon Hotel recently.
A total of 38 candidates from two panels -- Dulal-Alam Parishad and Azam-Saiful Parishad -- contested for 19 executive positions. Dulal-Alam panel won the election by a significant margin, says a press statement.
