New company secy, head of legal of BAT Bangladesh

Md. Azizur Rahman has been appointed Company Secretary of British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited recently. Rahman is a faculty member and fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretary. He is also a member of institute of Internal Auditors and Honorary General Secretary of Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh. He has more than 18 years of cross functional working experience in areas such as company secretarial, legal affairs, finance, audit and corporate affairs. Meanwhile, Syed Mohammed Aynul Kabir has been appointed Head of Legal of British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited recently. Prior to the assignment, Kabir served as Head of Legal in Sri Lanka's Ceylon Tobacco Company, a member of the British American Tobacco group. Before joining British American Tobacco Bangladesh in 2006, Kabir was a practicing lawyer and a Partner of Lee, Khan & Partners. He completed his LLB (Hons) from University of Dhaka in 1996 and LLM from University of Leeds in the UK in 1998.
