New COOs of Beximco Pharma, Shinepukur Ceramics

Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd has appointed Rabbur Reza as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this new appointment, Mr. Reza served as the Director, Marketing and Business Development of BPL, said a press release.
Mr. Reza obtained Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from Panjab University, India, MBA degree from Queensland University of Technology, Australia and Executive Education in strategy and leadership at Harvard Business School, USA.
He has over 17 years of marketing and management experience with pharmaceuticals and fast moving consumer goods companies at home and abroad. He started his career with Beximco Pharmaceuticals in 1992 and continued till 1997. He then worked for six years with Biotech Pharmaceuticals and Milton Pharmaceuticals, Australia. He rejoined Beximco Pharmaceuticals in March 2005 as Executive Director, Marketing and promoted to Director, Marketing in February 2006.
Meanwhile, Rizvi Ul Kabir has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd. (SCL), said another press release.
Rizvi Ul Kabir, the new COO of SCL started his professional career in Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in 1994. During his over 15 years' service with Beximco Pharma, Mr. Rizvi served in different senior level management positions including Head of Marketing, International Business and Sales.
Mr. Rizvi obtained his B.Sc. Engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). Later, he completed his MBA (Major in Marketing) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He obtained executive education and training on different areas of Management and Marketing at home & abroad including 'Program for Quality Management (PQM)' in AOTS, Japan and 'Competing in Global Environment' from ISB, India.
